Environmental protection is one of the service goals of the Team of Care. Not only are they aware of the importance of environmental sustainability, but they also understand that everyone can protect the earth as long as they contribute. On September 14, 2024, more than 60 volunteers joined hands with the "trailsweeper" to respond to World Cleanup Day, the global environmental protection event, and cleaned up more than 10 kilograms of garbage. Volunteers rolled up their sleeves and put on gloves to clean up garbage along the Pineapple Dam Nature Trail, Butterfly Garden and Lung Mun Country Trail to create a cleaner and healthier environment for the earth. World Cleanup Day is an important global environmental protection event, held on the third Saturday of September every year, to call on all parts of the world to unite efforts to reduce environmental pollution by removing garbage and waste.
