Showing Care to the Elderly with TWGHs

The Lunar New Year is an important traditional festival for the Chinese. The Team of Care and the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Community Services Regional Office (Kowloon East) held a warm-hearted activity on February 19, 2025, visiting the elderly and sending them lucky bags for New Year blessings. About 50 volunteers from the Team of Care participated in the event, visiting elderly people living alone and elderly couples living together in the district. They could remind community members to pay more attention to the physical and mental health and needs of the elderly around them through these activities and visits. We would like to thank Mr Gary Lam, Regional Senior General Manager of Hang Yick, Mr Alex Chow, Regional Assistant General Manager of Well Born and Mr Sammy Wong, Regional Chief Property Manager of Well Born, for their support as well as the full-day voluntary work of the volunteer team.
