In order to promote environmental protection messages to the community, the "Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2025" co-organized by the Hong Kong Agency for Volunteer Service and the Concerted Efforts Resource Centre "Green Fun" was held in Tai Tong, Yuen Long on March 22. Nearly 2,000 participants worked together to plant a total of 5,000 local native tree seedlings to improve Hong Kong's ecological environment. Mr Gary Lam, Regional Senior General Manager of Hang Yick, together with 13 volunteers from the Team of Care, took part in the tree planting activity under the guidance of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. In addition to enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and the breeze of Tai Tong, the volunteers also learned planting techniques. Thanks to the volunteer team for their dedication to nature, the tree planting activity ended successfully in sweat and joy.
