Founded in 1997, Henderson Land’s subsidiary Well Born Real Estate Management Limited has provided outstanding professional services to our clients for the last 20 years. At the same time, the company actively participates in community services to make a difference in society. Led by Henderson Land and supported by our industry peers, Well Born continues to strive for excellence. To celebrate the 20th year of our founding, a special dinner celebration as held at Cuisine Cuisine on 24 November 2017. It was a lively evening that saw the attendance of many members of management and staff. Mr Lee Ka Shing and Dr Colin Lam Ko Yin, Vice-Chairmen of Henderson Land, graced the stage to cut the roast suckling pig, in a scene reminiscent of the founding of Well Born 20 years ago. Known for his sense of humour, Well Born’s ‘parent’ Mr Suen Kwok Lam quipped at the party that he was merely Well Born’s ‘nanny’. Representing our company and colleagues, he presented Dr Lam with a golden shield inscribed with the words: ‘Gratitude for Founding the Company’. It was also an evening of entertainment from unexpected quarters. Dr Lam wowed the audience with his rendition of the song My Way, as did Legislative Council member Dr Lo Wai Kwok with his saxophone solo. Dr Lo also provided a saxophone accompaniment for his Legco colleagues Messrs Abraham Razack, Paul Tse Wai Chun, and Jeffrey Lam Kin Fung, as they belted out What A Wonderful World. Mr Suen led the management in a rousing performance of three Chinese songs: Bottoms Up; Offering Truth, Goodness, and Beauty; and I Wish. Classical singer Ms Lai Wai Lan, as well as artistes Ms Elvina Kong Yan Yin and Ms Lily Ng Lai Chu also sang. Well-known radio personality Ms Candy Chea Shuk Mui was the MC for the evening.
